Infant Massage Class
This is a 1 hour class that is just great for those with a young one or for those who are expecting. The class is just 1 hour because I understand time constraints when it comes to infants. I have a little boy of my own, whom I massage all of the time.
All people, especially infants can benefit greatly from massage and touch. Not only is it great for their health, it also serves to aid in bonding.
Tuina massage is uniquely suited for pediatric use and is the major treatment modality in China for pediatric use. I do have specific training in pediatrics and in pediatric tuina massage.
The class includes:
 | | easy to learn techniques for your infant's general well being and for specific | | | conditions
| | | informative handouts
| | | suitable for ages 0-3 (though it can vary) - bring your infant or a practice doll | | | and a mat or blanket for the floor
|
The cost is just $20 per person with a 5 person minimum. As long as you have a group of at least 5 people, I will teach the course. I can teach it at my location, or I can come to yours.
Presentations
I give presentations at my location every month with a new topic each month. I can repeat any of those presentations at your location.
Also, if there is a topic that you would like me to present that I have not already done yet, I may be able to do that, too.
Topics include, but would not be limited to: Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Tuina Bodywork, Addiction Therapy with Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, T'ai Chi, and Qigong. Those topics themselves are very rich topics, so specific topics within those categories can be presented as well, such as Acupuncture for Back Pain, or T'ai Chi for the Elderly, or Chinese Herbs for Gynecological Complaints, etc.
Let me know what you have it mind.
My rate is $75 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. If the employer pays, they just pay me the flat fee directly. Sometimes, the employees pay for the massages. This is often done by pre-scheduling 10 minutes massages for $15 each. There can be 5 massages per hour with a 2 minute break between them in order to collect payment and to get the next employee set up. These are often scheduled during lunch-time over a 2 hour period. That is just a general guideline and can be changed to suit your specific needs and situation.
If you do not already have massage in your workplace, do let your employer know. If you do have massage there, then, again, let your employer know just how much better it would be if the massages were Tuina from OMHS.
